My work is inspired and influenced by architecture and mechanical processes, affectionately calling-back to structural renderings and plans made by hand with pen, paper and rulers. Highly detailed and precise, but characterised by minute imperfections, softening hard lines.

Other works featured are a response to this process, inverted, embracing the human nuance in emulating a mechanical process.

The line drawings are created using a customised plotter that enables me to create highly detailed and complex artworks. These drawings are not procedural or algorithmic, each one is a unique conversation between myself and the technology.

All of the drawings shown are one-off artworks, and in some cases unrepeatable. I do not recreate existing drawings, but please get in touch to discuss bespoke commissions.
